Welcome to the ACS Algo Application (“App”). By using this App, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

1. Medical Disclaimer

The ACS Algo App is intended to be used as a reference tool and resource for healthcare professionals. It provides clinical guidance based on established medical guidelines for the diagnosis and management of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). However, it is not a substitute for clinical judgment, experience, or professional advice.

• The information in this App should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, the clinical expertise of qualified healthcare professionals.

• Final diagnosis and treatment decisions are the sole responsibility of the healthcare provider. The App is not designed to make final medical diagnoses or dictate specific patient treatments.

2. No Liability for Clinical Outcomes

ACS Algo is designed to assist healthcare providers in the triage and decision-making process for patients presenting with chest pain or elevated troponin. However, the App, its developers, and any affiliates are not liable for any patient outcomes that result from the use of the App. Healthcare providers are expected to rely on their own clinical judgment and consider each patient’s individual condition when making medical decisions.

3. Guidelines and Updates

Medical guidelines and best practices are constantly evolving. While ACS Algo strives to stay up-to-date with current guidelines, there may be delays in updating the App to reflect the latest recommendations. In the case of any discrepancy between the App and the most current guidelines, the most current medical guidelines should be followed.

• Users are encouraged to verify the latest guidelines from trusted medical sources such as the American Heart Association (AHA), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), or similar institutions.

• The App does not guarantee full compliance with all the latest updates or individualized variations of treatment.

4. No Warranty

The ACS Algo App is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The use of this App is at the user’s own risk, and the developers are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the content.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developers, owners, or affiliates of ACS Algo be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or other intangible losses.

• The user assumes all responsibility for any medical decisions or actions taken as a result of using the App.

6. Professional Use Only

The ACS Algo App is intended for use by licensed healthcare providers. It should not be used by individuals without the appropriate professional qualifications. Patients or non-healthcare professionals should not use this App for self-diagnosis or treatment.

7. User Data Collection and Use

By using this App, you agree that certain personal information such as your name, institution, and department may be collected for the purpose of improving the App and for conducting internal analysis of its usage.

• The data collected may also be used for advertisement purposes within the App, but only in relation to relevant services or resources that may be of interest to healthcare professionals.

• Your data will never be sold to third parties.
